| ARO is a New Testament Greek word for art, that means, to fit. ARO Designs is a partnership between artists Michael and Lynda Sheets. After meeting in art school they founded ARO Designs in Spokane in 1972. In 1973 they moved to Los Angeles, and after a period in Washington State's Tri-Cities, they returned to Spokane in 1993. Michael Sheets Background Illustrator, graphic designer and art director Michael is proficient in print, photography, multimedia, video, copywriting, editing, IT and the Internet. He planned and managed the conversion of many traditional art and printing businesses into computer graphics operations. He has developed and taught seminars on illustration, graphic design, computer graphics and writing. He was on the development team for the best selling computer game, RIVEN. Michael is listed in Who's Who in America, and was featured as a Designer Technologist in Getting the Max from Your Graphics Computer (North Light Books). Lynda Sheets Background A traditionally trained graphic artist, designer and illustrator, Lynda was an early adopter of computer technology in 1979, and has been using computers for graphics since 1986. She is a gifted 3D artist with expertise in Maya, Rhino and 3D StudioMax. |
