| In Brief We cannot reveal very much about hat here. hat is protected by non-disclosure agreements and copyrights. What we can say therefore is necessarily brief and general. Concept and Audience Many people like to unfold what others have done -- like a mystery novel. hat will appeal to them. But hat will also provide players, especially children, with the means to make their own worlds and to play their own way in those worlds. And to share them. hat can be played by one or more players of any age. It is not gender specific -- but is designed "with females in mind -- as contrasted with games designed for males that females may also play. It is nonviolent, noncompetitive and best when played cooperatively and shared with other players. Same-age peers, younger and older siblings, teens and adults will all find that hat has something to engage them. Game industry veterans who are privy to the entire hat concept, have been unreservedly enthusiastic. As one such person (a woman) said, "I wish it was available now. I want to play this game!" Most of the conceptual work is complete. With appropriate funding, we plan to produce the game, a major game-related Internet site, and to proceed with future versions and spin-offs. |
